F1: The Movie CERTIFICATE 12A RUNNING TIME 155 MINUTES START TIME 7.45 PM |
F1 is an action-drama starring Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former 1990s Formula 1 driver who returns to racing 30 years after a near-fatal crash. Recruited by friend Ruben to save a struggling team, APXGP, Hayes mentors rookie Joshua Pearce, facing intense competition and personal demons.
Driven by Brad Pitt's laidback magnetism and sporting a souped-up engine courtesy of Joseph Kosinski's kinetic direction, F1 The Movie brings vintage cool across the finish line. Rotten Tomatoes There's a fair bit of macho silliness here, but the panache with which director Joseph Kosinski puts it together is very entertaining. The Guardian |

A Real Pain CERTIFICATE 15 RUNNING TIME 90 MINUTES START TIME 7.45 PM |
A Real Pain" follows mismatched cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin) as they reunite for a tour through Poland to honour their beloved grandmother, but their adventure takes a dark turn when the odd couple's old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history. Led by a scene-stealing turn from Kieran Culkin, A Real Pain is a powerfully funny, emotionally resonant dramedy that finds writer-director-star Jesse Eisenberg playing to his strengths on either side of the camera. Rotten Tomatoes It may be formally unadventurous but A Real Pain is a real treat, a tender, funny treatise on family jealousies and our relationship to the past. Empire |

Juror #2 CERTIFICATE 12A RUNNING TIME 114 MINUTES START TIME 7.45 PM |
Justin, whose wife is about to give birth to their first child, is selected on the jury for a murder trial. At a point in the trial he realises he may have been responsible for the death. This would exonerate the accused but incriminate him. He now walks a fine line between these two outcomes.
This is a riveting examination of what true justice looks like — the kind of straightforwardly entertaining mid-budget legal drama that would have filled a multiplex back in the ’90s. Empire ...a movie for grown-ups with its classy production values, strong performances from a starry cast, and thoughtful themes for viewers who want to be entertained but maybe think a little, too. |
In the summer of 1930, the Crawleys grapple with the threat of social disgrace when Mary finds herself at the centre of a public scandal and the family faces financial trouble. The Crawleys must embrace change with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future.
Soothing as a cup of tea while providing a satisfying amount of closure, The Grand Finale is a worthy sendoff for Downton Abbey. Rotten Tomatoes Just like the previous film, this is a solid send-off for the whole Downton saga, with everyone — upstairs and downstairs — getting their moment to shine, leaving you with a tear in your eye and a warmth in your cockles. Returning to cinemas for the first time in over a decade, Helen Mirren plays Queen Elizabeth II in the Olivier and Tony Award®-winning hit production, directed by Stephen Daldry.
For 60 years, Queen Elizabeth II met with each of her 12 prime ministers in a private weekly meeting. This meeting is known as The Audience. From Winston Churchill to Margaret Thatcher and David Cameron, the Queen advised her prime ministers on matters both public and personal. Through these private audiences, we see glimpses of the woman behind the crown and witness the moments that shaped a monarch. Peter Morgan’s Netflix phenomenon The Crown was based on this hit play. It was captured live from London’s West End in 2013 and went on to become one of the most-watched NT Live productions.
